Stream Transcoding is where your stream is captured from your main server and re-encoded into a different bitrate in real time. The new stream bitrate is then re-streamed to a second SHOUTcast server. In addition, we can even re-encode in different formats so you can offer your listeners alternate bitrates and formats.

• Our Stream Transcoding service starts at only $9.95 monthly for the first transcoded stream.   Each additional transcoded stream is generally $5 monthly.

• Remember that you need an additional SHOUTcast/IceCast server for each transcoded stream. These servers do not need to be hosted by us.

• The source stream must be in MP3 format.

• Each transcoded stream may be in any lower bitrate from the previous.

• Supported SHOUTcast output formats: MP3, AAC, AAC+

• Supported IceCast output formats: MP3, OGG/Flac, OGG/Vorbis
